The Cosmology group at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) invites applications for a postdoctoral position on the Simons Array (SA) project. The SA receivers will provide maps of Cosmic Microwave Background intensity and polarization with unprecedented sensitivity at small angular scales, enabling a wide variety of science, in particular the measurement of the properties of light relativistic particles such as neutrinos in the early universe. UCSD plays a leading role in the SA project in data analysis and participates in the project at all levels. The position will include analysis of data from the SA receivers deployed to the telescope.
Candidates interested in contributing to any of these areas of this research are encouraged to apply. Postdoctoral Scholars will also assist in mentoring graduate and undergraduate students and with outreach and public engagement activities.
The Office of Research Affairs and CASS at UC San Diego is committed to academic excellence and diversity.
