HDR is in search of an experienced Senior Project Control Manager. Position requires extensive project controls experience and oversight for all aspects of project controls systems and personnel for a $1 billion + program. The primary duties require a highly energetic, detail oriented individual who will assist the Project Manager with planning and monitoring all aspects of major transportation or industrial projects; while also growing and mentoring a group of project controls, schedulers and risk specialists. Must demonstrate experience hands-on knowledge of various project controls applications graphic including interface design using various computer programming languages, schedule baseline and updates review and analysis; development and evaluation of linear schedules using linear schedule methodology; cost management; implementation and management of electronic data management systems; contract compliance; claims avoidance and analysis; business process review and analysis; and IS project/program management. Provide oversight for all aspects of project scheduling using Primavera P6 or equivalent software, managing the project schedule including development, maintenance, reporting, and resource allocation. This Specialists will oversee base schedules, perform schedule reviews, monthly schedule update analysis, time impact analysis, investigate and analyze schedule impacts, monitor and document construction progress, identify, track and assist in resolution of construction issues/conflicts, act as liaison between the Client, Contractors or Designers concerning construction issues/conflicts and plan revisions. The Specialist shall monitor, review and report to the Project/Program Manager and or clients the status of schedules with regard to construction contract schedule compliance with the construction contract specifications, and shall review and provide written summary progress reports stating acceptability or unacceptability of the schedules. Experience with cost and resource loaded schedules required.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
  • 10+ years Construction Scheduling experience.
  • Certifications (one or more): PSP, PMP, PE, CM, EVP, PMI-SP, CST
  • Ability to interpret construction schedules
  • Experience with cost management systems, cost analysis, forecasting and change management. Proficiency in using Primavera, Sure Trak and/or other scheduling software required.
  • Ability to manage proposal preparation, contract review and negotiation, client relationship and win strategy for medium to large EPC Projects
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple long- and short-term tasks simultaneously
  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

The expected compensation range for this position is $144,739 to $206,770 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
