POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

The Warehouse Specialist will provideshipping, receiving, delivery, and warehouse facilities support.

• Verify incoming shipments against receiving documents.
• Deliver materials to designated locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage and warehouse processes.
• Perform warehousing duties utilizing pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Maintain shipping, receiving and driver log according to Alutiiq Policy.
• Maintain a safe and orderly work environment.
• Prepare and arrange materials and products for distribution or storage; moving and loading or unloading equipment, materials, and products; operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and related material-handling machinery and material handling equipment; to load and move materials.
• Accept delivery of inventory from FedEx, USPS, UPS and other logistics/delivery companies.
• Counting, confirming, and documenting inventory.
• Load and shrink wrapping stock on pallets.
• Vehicle loading, unloading, driving and making deliveries in company delivery vehicle.
• Assist with building and facilities maintenance activities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Pursuant to the Government Contract, you must be a U.S. Citizen,with the ability toobtainand maintaina Secret DoD Clearance after hire.
• Two (2) years of warehouse experience to include: performing inventory, staging, stocking, delivering, packing, storage and shipping of equipment.
• Must have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 40+ pounds.
• Working knowledge of common hand tools and power tools.
• Must have good communication and organization skills.
• Must be able to work in a team and as an individual with minimal direction.
• Previous forklift experience is a plus
• An Active Secret Clearance is a plus
