Job Description

The Enterprise Strategy Manager role will partner directly with department and executive level leadership to help some the complex challenges facing GuideWell as an Enterprise. This role will focus on the identification of enterprise-level challenges and opportunities, including strategy, business development, and growth initiatives. The incumbent will partner with department leadership, subject matter experts, finance, and corporate development to support key Enterprise projects and initiatives. In addition, this role will support leadership decision-making by supporting the development, distillation, and analysis of our Enterprise strategy, leveraging internal and external expertise to make connections and augment relevance to current industry dynamics.

Job duties include but are not limited to:
* Develops and delivers clear and concise communications with supporting data and recommendations to enable organizational understanding around key strategies, positions and strategic issues.
* Owning development of high-quality deliverables, accurate, visually appealing, logically structured, and formatted) such as scorecards, landscape assessments, strategies, business cases, and business unit overview presentations
* Supports and facilitates enterprise strategy development, business unit strategy alignment, and deep-dive analysis surrounding key industry/strategic questions
* Contributes to the enablement and provision of data/intelligence, frameworks, key questions and meeting facilitation with key executives to drive definition and alignment around the "how and execution" for key strategies
* Engages with senior team members to progress enterprise and business needs, defining, and providing recommendations to leadership to advance key workstreams, including the ability to leverage intelligence to align with leaders on the rationale and execution behind key strategies
* Anticipates key challenges and obstacles in project work, developing strategies to mitigate barriers across the enterprise, partnering with leadership to establish positive working relationships with team members and business partners to advance workflows
* Advanced critical and analytical skills with an ability to develop and mentor junior level talent to improve skillset
* Demonstrated success in developing insights from data and research with the ability to work collaboratively with business partners to translate insights into action that will impact GuideWell as an enterprise
* Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to act in a consultative role with key business leaders from across the enterprise
* Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to package results and present ideas clearly, persuasively, and with consultant like quality
* Lead and support key enterprise strategic initiatives with roles varying dependent on size/scope of initiative but will include elements of in-direct team leadership, problem solving, project management, communication, and implementation support on a small-sized project scale
* Defines, enables or contributes to strategic intelligence needs across enterprise, business units and key functional areas to support achievement of business objectives
* Acts as a consultant to various groups across the Enterprise supporting strategic intelligence analysis and facilitating insight generation

Job Requirements:
* 7+ years' related work experience. Experience Details: Management or strategy consulting, corporate strategy development or implementation, or corporate development (mergers/acquisition, equity research)
* Related Bachelor's degree or additional related equivalent work experience
* Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, and presentation development / leadership skills
* Experience in implementation and execution of large enterprise-wide initiatives and processes, underscored by strong critical thinking
* Proven success designing, developing, and delivering high-quality solutions for strategy, enterprise-wide transformation, and/or innovation projects
* Strong written and verbal presentation / communication skills that effectively convey complex issues, packaging insights into an executive ready package to aid in rapid decision-making
* In-depth working knowledge of the health care operating environment with experience in health care, specifically focused on health insurance and clinical asset operations
* Direct exposure in health care strategy development and implementation, spanning multiple business functions and segments of the business, including product development, pricing, analytics, and competitive intelligence
* Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Access with ability to develop and contribute to consultant-like quality content for leadership
* Strong desire to learn new areas of the business that are not immediately aligned to this role, while building relationships across multiple organizations without direct authority
* Experience in financial modeling and strong knowledge of financial statements (NAIC, GAAP)
* Ability to collaborate, influence, and present to senior leadership in a clear and succinct manner

Preferred:
* Advanced degree, such as MBA, MPA, MPH, or MHA
* Significant knowledge and experience associated with the health care industry, including commercial and government market segments, along with an understanding of the Puerto Rican health care ecosystem

General Physical Demands
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects. Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.

Annualized Salary Range: $96,000 - $156,000

Typical Annualized Hiring Range: $96,000 - $120,000

Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
