As an Estimator you will:

Estimator's are responsible for deciding the projected time frame needed to complete a quote and additional factors like labor needs, materials, budgets and potential risks. Duties include communicating with personnel and contractual professionals or vendors, using computer software to weigh production risks or compile reports, and making presentations to project leaders outlining their suggestions for upcoming projects.

What will my responsibilities include?

• Analyzing requirement documents, blueprints, bid instructions, contract language, purchase orders and quality clauses to gain a thorough understanding of the RFQ
• Determine what factors of production will influence the cost of a service
• Prepare material estimates and cost estimates for the product or service
• Create labor estimates
• Develop and maintain relationships with company vendors
• Manage bids from vendors
• Using bid data to prepare detailed cost analysis
• Compile and record actual costs
• 5's + Safety requirements
• Present prepared estimates to management
• Other reasonable duties as business and operational needs dictate

What key skills and experience do I need?

• Communication skills
• Written skills

Education and Experience:

• 3 years of experience in the tube and duct industry is preferred
• 1 year experience estimating costs in the Aerospace industry is preferred

• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, model-based data i.e. Catia platform

• Familiarity with analyzing requirement data to develop material and cost estimates for large LTA quotes

• Prior CAD experience a plus
