Job Description

Part-Time: 2 to 4 shifts per week, your choice, weekends preferred
Off days: static, per LVN availability
Hours: 2:30pm - 11:00pm
Pay: $38 - 40/hr, DOE
Best suited for: flex nurses who wants a guaranteed 2 days at one community


***Note: Senior care facilities like ours take greater steps to ensure safety for the residents at our community. We will require all applicants to pass a comprehensive criminal background check and drug test (marijuana testing not included), along with testing physical ability and TB. ***

WHO WE WANT
An experienced nurse who is looking to move from a fast-pace environment to a relaxed community with low-acuity residents. You can gracefully coordinate and perform resident health assessments and plan-of-care evaluations. Perform treatments, administer medication and other nursing interventions as indicated by the patient plan of care or as ordered by a physician. Maintains inventory of medical supplies, medications and all documentation as required by Federal and State regulations. You are a team-player who can step in to cover different stations and shifts will be instrumental in maintaining our spirit of collaboration and connection.

WHAT THE ENVIRONMENT IS LIKE
You will see the Pacific Ocean every day you drive into work. You can have lunch on a bench close to the beach. You may notice our residents warmly greeting you as they go about their day.

During work, you be will frequently be required to stand, walk, examine things, and clearly communicate. You must also be able to:

Regularly: lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts, exposed to moderate noise levels

Occasionally: lift and/or move above 50 pounds with the assistance from a co-worker and/or mechanical means. Exposed to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; extreme cold, extreme heat, risk of electrical shock and vibration
