CLA is looking to hire a Senior Scrum Master to join our growing Internal IT team.

About the role:

The Senior Scrum Master's role is to assist in building and evolving CLA's Agile mindset and maturity across the IT organization. This role will include driving the Agile transformation by guiding and coaching Product Owners, lesser experienced Scrum Masters, Developers, and other relevant Stakeholders. This individual will likely serve as Scrum Master on multiple Scrum teams simultaneously; facilitating all aspects of the Scrum framework's ceremonies and serving as a buffer between Developers, Product Owners, and Stakeholders outside the Scrum team.

As a Senior Scrum Master, you will:

* Assist with guiding the team and Organization on our Agile transformation to help mature and enhance existing processes

* Coach teams and leaders in Agile principles and practices, roles and responsibilities and frameworks

* Monitor Agile maturity of teams, while identifying areas of opportunities working with Scrum Masters and Delivery teams

* Implement and adopt continuous improvement practices

* Facilitate discussions, decision making and conflict resolution

* Collaborate with Leadership, Product Owners and Architects to ensure alignment on strategy and execution

* Work with other Scrum Masters to synchronize common practices when possible and reconcile tailoring when not

* Elevate teams to a high performing level by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate mentoring and development techniques

* Support the Product Owner with respect to sprint grooming and maintaining the product backlog

* Ensure successful delivery of large impact and/or cross-functional product initiatives on time and within budget

* Remove blockers or impediments, resolve conflicts and communicate team status including burndown and velocity

* Assist with administration of the Azure DevOps board

What you will need:

* 5+ years Scrum Master experience for a software development team that was applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.

* Experience as Project Manager, managing budget and forecasting

* Working knowledge of Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC)

* Understanding of Scrum Framework, value and metricsCore Microsoft Applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira or similar tool

* Familiarity of current programming languages and automation pipelines

Certifications / Licenses:

* Hold one or more scrum certifications; certified scrum master, agile certified practitioner, professional scrum master

* Bachelor's degree or combination of experience, education and training may be accepted in lieu of degree
