Industrial Fluid Management, A Division of Kleinfelder is a fast-growing, full-service Water Cycle Services company based out of McClure, Ohio. Kleinfelder-IFM provides drinking water and wastewater operation services as well as laboratory testing for municipal and commercial clients to maintain EPA compliances.

Kleinfelder-IFM is seeking potential candidates for a full-time position to fill our growing demand for additional in-house laboratory/technical skills.

Under supervision and working with experienced staff, the successful candidate will assist in performing laboratory testing of wastewater samples for the purpose of verifying suitability and conformance for client specifications. Water/wastewater testing experience is not required; we will train the right person. The technician may be called upon to perform various tasks at the discretion of the supervisor. Could include some weekend and holiday hours.

Tasks to be performed:

Maintain equipment temperature logs, clean dishes and glassware, clean sample holding fridge, check in samples, wash and weigh filters, wash pipettes, calibrate handheld and bench top equipment, file chain of custodies and daily operations forms, and sample pick up (must have good driving record). Analyze pH, BOD/CBOD, Solids, E. Coli, Total Phosphorus and more. Tasks will progress as company and supervisor sees fit.

Detail and safety oriented.
• Organizational and time management skills: must be able to multitask projects and analyses.
• Good mechanical skills.
• Self-motivated and self-disciplined.
• Effectively communicate with clients, co-workers, and regulatory agency.
• Must be able to use a computer and a general knowledge of MS Office is preferred.
• Creative and innovative.
• Clean driving record required for sample pickup.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
