POSITION SUMMARY: The basic purpose or function of this position to disassemble and repair gas turbine engines in a safe and compliant manner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION: to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. The duties and responsibilities regularly performed for this position are:

  • Disassemble, repair and replace worn, damaged or defective components using hand tools, gauges and testing equipment.
  • Perform disassembly, cleaning, and assembly on LM2500 and Plus models and engines.
  • Read, interpret, and comply with technical manuals, drawings, and specifications
  • Document work on records, reports and forms in accordance with company protocols.
  • Ensure calibration status of tooling is current prior to use.
  • Cross train in other disciplines as required. May work in other areas of the shop floor, as production dictates.
  • Train others of lesser skill.
  • Produces high quality work through focus and maintaining accuracy.
  • Willing and able to work overtime as required.
  • Participate in FAA Anti-Drug and Alcohol Program

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

Must have 3-5 years' experience with gas turbine engines.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: N/A
